It is clear from the start of the article that this is not a simple issue. The abundance of teenage pregnancy around the world especially in the developing countries is very high. It is a social problem because it does not only affect the developing countries but also some of the developed countries. It seems like they feel like they're not IN with the trend if they don't get pregnant that's why most girls in developing countries and some developed countries got pregnant during the teenage years. Sexual behavior patterns has also contributed to this problem. Ignorance is also a factor of teenage pregnancy. Teenagers in developing countries must be educated about the problems they will have to face if they got pregnant at a young age. Birth control should be emphasized to avoid getting pregnant if they cannot control themselves. How can they support their child? They better finish their education than getting pregnant first.
The study involves a sample of 652 pregnant adolescents from low income families and treated by a multi-professional health care team at the Centre of Reproductive Medicine and Integral Development of the Adolescent that was studies prospectively. Prenatal control included attention to adolescent, their partners, their families and the newborn child. All the deliveries and newborn babies were treated at the Obstetric and Perinatal Residence of the Department Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Clinical University Hospital. The same technical standards were applied in each case. There were no home deliveries in this cohort under study. These data are gathered to see how related pathologies affect he pregnancy by period until the baby is born. Most information is provided by UNFPA to analyze data according to regions. The 10 countries with the higher fecundity rates between 15 and 19 years of age have been recorded, as have those with the lower rates. A summary given of the average use of contraceptives in each 5 countries subgroup. In regions with less than 20 countries, each country in the region is tabulate. Theories or Concept presented were all related to the topic which supports its claims and which fastens its purpose. The topic was well explained through different theories, interviews, and surveys presented. The paper was long enough that not a single topic is left unexplained. Ideas were not bias; it was taken in different perception with evidence presented. Coherence of ideas were presented, from sexual behavior ton social factors.
Overall, this article is very straightforward to its reader; however, in order to have more people engaged and read the whole article it needs a more concise introduction. Once the reader gets to the really good claims and findings that are relevant to the things happening around, a good portion of the article has already past. Overall, it is good, well-written with an important message for teens. The piece, when taken as a whole is relevant and very convincing.
